Currently, the operation primarily consists of three large divisions. While there are other smaller divisions, most of the operation occurs in the Dump, Flatbed and Walking Floor divisions. These divisions account for over 90% of the company fleet. Additionally, subcontractors are used to meet additional customer demands. The total number of trucks in daily operation is approximately 375.

Fleet Management

Kephart Trucking Co.'s maintenance facitlity consists of a 12,000 sq. foot garage at our Bigler, Pennsylvania terminal. This facility is staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, to ensure that your freight is delivered on schedule.

We have factory trained mechanics on staff to handle all types of repair work, from minor electrical problems to major engine rebuilds. More importantly, our preventive maintenance program insures us and you, our customer, that our equipment will pickup and deliver your freight on time.

Safety Program

Kephart Trucking Co. is extremely concerned with the safety of each employee and, more importantly, the safety of the general public. Safety shall, and will, take precedence over expediency. Kephart Trucking Co. works hard to comply with all safety laws and regulations, whether it be local, state, or federal level.

Kephart Trucking also utilizes the HighwayMaster cellular tracking/communications system in all company owned units. This allows for monitoring of performance and location of each driver on an up to the minute basis. Both data and voice communication are available as well as the monitoring of speed, idle time, fuel mileage, out-of-route miles and many other functions.
