Phone Instructions

The following instructions list the various ways to setup, activate and review your voicemail options.

The first set of instructions list the Voicemail Nightly Activation Features, while the expanded instructions below illustrate ALL of your voicemail features.

There are two (2) ways to setup your Voicemail Nightly Activation: Busy/No Answer or Answer All Calls. The Busy/No Answer option will allow voicemail to answer your calls if you are on your phone or away from your desk (the call will be answered after 4 rings). The Answer All Calls option will allow the person calling you to leave a message on your voicemail. When answer all is active, no calls can be answered manually.

 

Busy/No Answer

To set your phone in Busy/No Answer Mode:

1. Get the intercom dial tone (single line phones just pick up the handset, multibutton phones pick up the handset and press the intercom button.
2. Enter 7000.
3. Hang up.

When your mesage light blinks on and off.slowly, you are in voice mail answer mode.

To deactivate the Busy/No Answer option, the user must get the intercom dial tone and press #, then hang up.

Just a reminder, when you are in Busy/No Answer mode, if you are on your phone your voicemail will activate immediately, if you are away from your desk, voicemail will activate after your phone rings four (4) times.

Answer All Calls

To set your phone in Answer All Calls Mode:

1. Get the intercom dial tone (single line phones just pick up the handset, multibutton phones pick up the handset and press the intercom button.
2. Enter 7001.
3. Hang up.

When your mesage light blinks on and off slowly, you are in voice mail answer mode.

To deactivate the Answer All Calls option, the user must get the intercom dial tone and press #, then hang up.

    Enter Mailboxes to receive message, up to 10 mailboxes
    Specify recipients by Name *6    
    Erase Msg and return to Main Menu **    
   
After entering a mailbox number or name you can:
    Request Return Receipt *7 Tag a message as Urgent *8 Tag a message as Confidential *2
    Send msg & Return to Menu # Cancel previous mailbox * Erase msg and go to Menu **
